That's miles from anything resembling my field, so I can only take an educated guess or two. I can't see any reason it wouldn't have worked, so that's some unfortunate timing. [A shrug.]

You're trying to flatter me again. I'm well aware swords and physical combat don't suit me whatsoever, you realize.

Of course. You fight like the smart man you are. Still doesn't mean you don't can't rock a sword or two. Or three. Or six.

I don't know, having both hands occupied in a fight sounds like a good way to get myself killed pretty quickly. We can't all be masterclass dual-wielders.

I appreciate your overestimation of my magical capacity, but it's definitely an overestimation.

Does it use up a lot of magical energy or something?

The wire's augmented throughout with magical energy, so using more than one could get difficult for someone like me. On top of that, the concentration required to manipulate it would get troublesome if I tried more than one at a time. Combined, I'd call it comparable to juggling while reciting the alphabet backwards.
